Ohhh boy. . . I’m on my way to AFRICA!

Finally getting this journal started! Two months from now I will be flying out to Uganda! Excited, somewhat nervous, and overall blessed, I’m finally on my way to fulfilling a dream/vision that I’ve had for so long. To experience the manifestation of a consistent prayer started so long ago is such an indescribable blessing that leaves me stunned and speechless. Keep me in your prayers!

If you're reading this, more than likely you know why and how this "Dream Come True" experience is happening. For those of you who don't . . . I'm 45. Most of my time is spent with my dog, Blue, driving an 18-wheeler across the U.S. Going to church, general house-hold duties, yard work, and many other errands consume my too short time at home on the weekends. Since finding out my HIV+ status on Labor Day Weekend of 1997, I have been driven to go to Africa. . . where the "root" of the issue lies. My heart sincerely bleeds for the pain and suffering of the innocents there. . . . especially the children. Consistently, within the past year, a Power MUCH greater than myself has guided me and affirmed in so many awesome "coincidental" ways that my personal Purpose/Mission in this life is to alleviate (as much as I possibly can) the pain and sufferings of "GOD's most precious creation" . . . the innocent children. HE has specifically pointed to Uganda! Therefore, off I go! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I will be in Lugazi, Uganda MAY 15 - JUNE 14.
