Mas, mas, mas!
July 10th, 2009 by Heather SilvernailYikes! Just looked at that last post, sorry I didn´t have time to spell check. It was trivia night by the way, oi. And to think I teach : ) Anyways things here are wrapping up so quickly I can hardly keep up but I´m trying to get it all in. Much like my life at home. If you know me you know I can pack a schedule and kill myself getting it all done like nobody´s business. Coming in quite handy today. Went with Jessie to the zoo this morning, so cool! I got to feed monkeys, foxes, turtles, parrots, deer and more all by hand! It was very fun and I got to help prep some of the food we used. It was even more fun than shopping which was what I has planned for this morning. Last night we went to El Molino which is a huge market of anything the basic Cuscoian could need. Socks, shoes and more shoes, clothes (the kinds that you would wear everyday not just llama sweaters), tv´s, all kinds of electronics, and more more more. It was like a big mall set up Lexington Market style. Got some fleece lined Adidas track pants for what is about 8 US dollars. Today trying to squeeze in class, Ceviche for lunch, a tour of one of the churches, my project from 3-6 and then dinner, hopefully shopping and then out for our last night on the town. Not too late though. Pick up for Machu Picchu is at 5:20 in the morning. I have so many more stories I can´t wait to see everyone and share all we did and saw. All my love!
