Sorry I am such a terrible blogger. By the end of my day I am usually too tired to make it all the way down to the internet cafe. Things have been going good. I think that I am starting to get pretty used to my life in Kenya. The last couple of days the kids have finally started calling me by my name instead of Jessie who is one of the volunteers who has been at the childrens home for months. I tell them my name is Katie b/c the think that my name Katie is pretty darn funny b/c it mean seat in swahili. Just to warn you for some reason I can’t see half the workds that I am writing on the screan so this may not make too much sense.
The kids are great. Crazy but great. They love to sing and do crafts, which is sometimes tricky b/c there are so mnay of them and they don’t love sharing. I just realized that I have to run, but things are going good and I am learning lots. Tomorrow a couple of the volunteers and I are taking a few kids that we are sponsering to a school about 3 hours away to have them interviewed. It should be a fun day b/c we get to give them individual attention which they love. Well I best be off. Short but sweet, sorry.
