Hi everyone! Two volunteers found the fastest internet ever, so we were very excited :)

Christmas Day with the kids was amazing, as I expected. When we got there, they had already opened their presents and they were having so much fun just walking around with their gift bags. :) The boys got new shirts and looked so handsome. They knew it too :) The girls all got nail polish, so we did pedicures for them. They loved the lotion! We did the little foot scrub thing, and they just giggled and giggled. After that, we had a big breakfast and lunch, and I had two big cakes for them. I think they had a wonderful Christmas.

I asked if they were happy and they said “are you?” It was so sweet…just a small example of how amazing they are. They are always thinking of others.

I brought noise makers for them…it was one of the loudest moments of my life, but very funny. Then they managed to rig them to a balloon, so it was a constant stream of noise. They were the ones that you blow into,and it squeals…well the balloons allowed them to be louder and last longer. Awesome :) After that, I told them to meet me outside for a surprise and when they came around the corner, I attacked them with silly string :) They kept trying to eat it, lol, and I had to keep my eyes on them.

We were playing a ball game, and I was curious where the ball came from. It looked like a hand made hacky sack…it eventually broke, and I was excited to see what they were made of. I imagined they would go to the kitchen or something, but they grabbed my hand and took me to the trash dump where they keep all the trash…they just grab random pieces of plastic or fabric…anything they think will make a good ball, then wrap it all together. It broke my heart, and it never would have occurred to me to do that. Then they were putting the trash in their mouth..I tried to stop them at first, but I realized it was useless, plus all kids eat dirt. It makes their immune systems stronger, I told myself :)

I was trying to upload pictures and videos, but my camera is acting funny, so I don’t know when I will be able to. The kids made a video for Keith, and I have some great pictures of them playing at Christmas. I will try to get them up as soon as possible. :)

I am doing some shopping today, and tomorrow I’m going to visit the family I stayed with originally. It should be a good weekend :)
