Quick update from Congal

December 1st, 2007 by Danielle Denis-Lalonde

Wow, feels like I haven´t been on the internet (or been remotely close to a computer) in ages…luckily I still remember my GVN password. Maybe it´s just my imagination, but I also feel like my typing is slower…

Well, this is going to be the shortest blog entry yet. Just wanted to say that the past week (or two?) have been fantastic, and I have SOOOOO much to write. But unfortunately I have neither the time, the patience or the desire to write it all now.

The whole Congal crew (8 of us) are heading to Quito for the festival from the 4th to the 8th. Should be fun! I may wind up staying there until Doe arrives from the Amazon, or I may head back to the Congal station for another few days of hard labour and serious hanging out with my housemates. Or yet another option is to hop on a bus down to the Amazon (Tena or Banos) and hang out with my sister there…still totally undecided.

But what´s for sure is that I will have some time in Quito to update my blog. And I intend to update it FULLY and COMPLETELY. It may be the longest blog entry in the history of blogging. So brace yourself. The past few weeks have just been so rich with experience that I could probably write forever.

Oh, good news! Roddy from the Galapagos station e-mailed me and I guess they found my journal at the internet cafe in Baquerizo Moreno! Woohoo! I had completely abandoned my attachment to it, so it´s rather a nice surprise to know I will see it & read it again.

Ok, well that´s it for now.

Lots of love to my dear family and friends…
and to the whole beautiful world.

Ciao,
Dani
